Job Summary
Collision Auto Body Technician responsible for meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles to pre-accident condition. Tasks include disassembly/reassembly, realigning chassis, replacing parts and glass, welding, painting, and ensuring repairs meet KPI targets. Must read job orders, work with others in a shop, and use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers. Requires ability to lift up to 30 pounds, work safely in a noisy environment, and complete required training through technical school or apprenticeship. Education must include high school diploma or equivalent and technical training; experience with I-CAR standards and collaboration in a team setting is valued.
