Job Summary
Auto Body Technician responsible for precise repair of vehicles to pre-accident condition, including disassembly/reassembly, dent repair, chassis realignment, glass and interior parts replacement, welding, and painting. Must read job orders, work with minimal supervision, collaborate with other shop staff, and ensure work aligns with labor time guidelines. Requires use of tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers; ability to lift up to 30 pounds; strong attention to safety and quality. Industry knowledge includes I-CAR/ASE standards and a focus on delivering a WOW customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer
