Job Summary
Collibra Developer responsible for designing and implementing Collibra solutions: writing Groovy scripts to build and enhance Collibra workflows, developing Collibra integrations via REST APIs, and shaping the Collibra metamodel. Role requires collaborating with business IT partners to gather metadata-use case requirements, articulating use cases and solutions, onboarding metadata sources and lineage automation, and applying data governance and metadata concepts. Collibra design and development experience (not end-user experience) is required; certification is a plus. Familiarity with related tools like Alation and data quality solutions is desirable. Strong communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must have experience in Groovy scripting to create and enhance Collibra workflows
- Must have experience in developing Collibra integrations using REST APIs
- Basic understanding of Database Datawarehouse and SQL concepts
- Experience with designing various integrations around Collibra (e.g., integration with Alation or other data quality tools)
- Collibra design and development experience in contrast to end-user experience
- Experience working with business IT partners to gather metadata use-case requirements
- Ability to articulate use cases and solutions
- Ability to enhance Collibra Metamodel
- Strong knowledge of data governance and metadata concepts
- Onboarding various sources for technical metadata and lineage automation
- Ability to analyze issues and provide solutions
- Collibra certification is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Other tools desirable: Alation
