Job Summary
Answer and transfer calls on multi-line phones, file paperwork, and perform data entry while assisting adjunct faculty with mail. Support walk-in students, faculty, and the community, and help coordinate campus events. This role is part of the Switchboard/Information Desk team at the College of Southern Nevada, serving students, staff, and the Vegas community.
Required Qualifications
- Be friendly outgoing, and willing to learn
- Have a good understanding of diverse multicultural environments
- Be able to follow directions and communicate well
- Have knowledge of Microsoft Office systems
- Be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
- Show a financial aid eligible major (degree or certificate program) declared with the CSN Office of the Registrar
- Meet Financial Aid Satisfactory Progress after each semester/term to qualify for employment within the academic year
- Show degree compliant enrollment for each semester/term for which funding is desired
- Be enrolled in at least 6 credits and meet additional eligibility requirements of the Silver State Regents Service Program for summer semester/term employment
- Have completed this year's FAFSA and accepted the Student Employment Award in their Financial Aid Package
- Be a U.S. citizen or an alien authorized to work in the U.S.
