Job Summary
Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of students during the college tour trip; guide students as they explore campuses and attend informational sessions; act as liaison between students and Education Unlimited; assist with on-the-ground logistics (communications with bus driver and universities, arranging meals, hotel check-ins/outs); foster a positive learning environment; mentor students; track expenses within tour budgets; collaborate with other chaperones and EU home office; be available to assist the camp director with supervision, recreational activities, and administrative tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience working with high school students and/or leading student delegations
- Recent experience in and understanding of college admissions
- Extensive travel experience
- Masters Degree (preferred)
- A calm and professional demeanor
- The willingness and ability to work long hours
- The willingness and flexibility to deal with unexpected situations with a calm and solution-focused attitude
- Self-motivation and follow-through
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong people skills
- A passion for education
