Job Summary
College Completion Mentor Specialist serves as the primary 1:1 navigation partner for students from senior year through graduation, delivering navigation sessions, Brotherhood Huddles, career readiness support, and College Comeback re-engagement across the region; duties include FAFSA/CADAA tracking, college applications, transfer support for community college students, internship pre-placement preparation, ongoing milestone tracking, family engagement, and documentation in Salesforce, with field-based work at local school campuses and a schedule of Monday–Friday 8:30am–5pm plus some weekends/evenings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required
- Strong understanding of community college, transfer pathways, financial aid, and 4-year graduation requirements
- Ability to manage a multi-phase caseload with tiered intensity and consistent follow-through
- Experience with Salesforce or willingness to learn Salesforce
- Excellent communication and program-management skills
- Ability to self-motivate and work in a mission-driven environment
