Job Summary
Provide direct support to scholars and families by guiding them through college and workforce success, assisting with financial aid applications, and facilitating college readiness. Host success workshops and represent the organization at fundraising and appreciation events. As a recent college graduate, you will relate to the backgrounds of students served while building a three-year commitment that includes broad professional development for career advancement. This role sits within 10,000 Degrees' mission to unlock student success at scale by providing equitable educational opportunities to low-income backgrounds.
Required Qualifications
- Recent college graduate
- Reliable means of transportation
- Close-vision ability
- Ability to sit, stand, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard
- Ability to engage in moderate, occasional lifting
- Ability to submit to fingerprinting and provide a clear tuberculosis (TB) test as part of the background check
