College Bridge Licensed Teacher (Summer 2026)

Arete Education is seeking a College Bridge Licensed Teacher to design and lead engaging and safe learning activities for Arete Education Youth Afterschool and Summer Programs across Academic Interventions, Credit-Bearing Courses, or Enrichment Clubs. Responsibilities include creating curriculum maps with backward design principles, pre-ordering supplies, proposing field trips, developing student-facing course/club descriptions, coordinating attendance, preparing weekly lesson plans, delivering daily classroom activities for youth ages 11-19, and participating in regular team meetings and coaching. The role requires collaboration with school communities, conducting family outreach to support social-emotional learning and attendance goals, sharing evidence of classroom learning, and using Arete employee systems for communication and time-tracking. Required skills include curriculum planning for K-12, strong communication and collaboration, adaptability, and proficiency with Google Apps, Microsoft Office, Zoom, and related tools. Education and experience emphasize a NYS Licensed Teacher credential, mandated safety trainings, and background clearances; Bachelor’s Degree and a Masters’ Degree are preferred.
