Job Summary
Communicate with prospective students, parents, and the community via appointments, phone, email, and materials while welcoming applicants to process paperwork, conduct interviews, and lead campus tours. Maintain recruiting operations by following policies, reporting changes, and adhering to compliance standards. Advise students and families on educational options, admission requirements, and policies, assisting leads through training and diligent follow-up to increase enrollment starts. Conduct effective phone presentations and interviews, maintain professional interactions with internal and external stakeholders, and ensure data integrity for local, state, and federal reporting. This role supports the college's enrollment efforts and growth strategy within a positive, collaborative environment focused on helping students succeed in nursing careers.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years' experience in admissions, retail sales, consumer marketing or recruitment
- High degree of professionalism and discretion dealing with confidential information
- Must be organized, professional, and warm to our potential and current students
- Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in an extremely dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community
- Organizing and coordinating skills
- Knowledge of college admissions procedures and of student recruitment and retention issues
- Skill in the use of computerized systems and databases
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree from an accredited college or university
