Job Summary
Communicate with prospective students, parents, and the community via appointments, telephone, email, and materials. Welcome applicants by processing paperwork, conducting interviews, organizing campus tours, and executing follow-up campaigns including letter writing and phone calls. Advise families on educational options, admission requirements, and policies while maintaining database integrity for state and federal reporting. Support enrollment efforts by increasing conversion rates through diligent prospect follow-up and accurate data management. Adhere to all compliance standards and represent the college professionally to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1 to 3 years' experience in admissions, retail sales, consumer marketing or recruitment
- High degree of professionalism and discretion dealing with confidential information
- Must be organized, professional, and warm to our potential and current students
- Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in an extremely dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community
- Organizing and coordinating skills
- Knowledge of college admissions procedures and of student recruitment and retention issues
- Skill in the use of computerized systems and databases
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree from an accredited college or university
