Job Summary
Communicate with prospective students, parents, and the community via appointments, telephone, email, and materials. Welcome applicants by processing paperwork, conducting interviews, and leading campus tours while managing follow-up activities. Advise families on educational options, admission requirements, and policies to increase enrollment percentages. Maintain recruiting operations by adhering to compliance standards and reporting changes. Represent the college professionally and ensure data integrity for local, state, and federal reporting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years' experience in admissions, retail sales, consumer marketing or recruitment
- High degree of professionalism and discretion dealing with confidential information
- Must be organized, professional, and warm to our potential and current students
- Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in an extremely dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community
- Organizing and coordinating skills
- Knowledge of college admissions procedures and of student recruitment and retention issues
- Skill in the use of computerized systems and databases
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree from an accredited college or university
