Job Summary
Communicate with prospective students, parents, and the community via appointments, telephone, email, and materials to guide them through the admissions journey. Welcome applicants by processing paperwork, conducting interviews, organizing campus tours, and executing follow-up campaigns including letter writing and phone calls. Maintain recruiting operations by adhering to compliance standards, reporting changes, and ensuring accurate data entry for local, state, and federal records. Advise students and families on educational options, policies, and requirements while representing the college to internal and external VIPs. Increase enrollment percentages through diligent prospect follow-up and effective phone presentations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1 to 3 years' experience in admissions, retail sales, consumer marketing or recruitment
- High degree of professionalism and discretion dealing with confidential information
- Must be organized, professional, and warm to our potential and current students
- Exceptional ability to organize, prioritize and multi-task in an extremely dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of individuals in a diverse community
- Organizing and coordinating skills
- Knowledge of college admissions procedures and of student recruitment and retention issues
- Skill in the use of computerized systems and databases
- Ability to develop, plan, and implement short- and long-range goals
- 100% on-site at the campus
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree from an accredited college or university
