Job Summary
Narrative architect/editor to improve college admissions essays using show-don’t-tell, identify clichés, and craft authentic student voices. You will record ~2-minute Loom videos for each edited essay, manage a dynamic queue of 25–32 essays per day during peak season, and facilitate weekly Zoom workshops and 1:1 coaching sessions. Career path includes progression from Editor to Coach. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of admissions editing, storytelling expertise, camera confidence, high-volume editing stamina, and tech proficiency (Google Docs, Zoom, Loom). Work schedule is Monday–Friday 12:00pm–8:00pm PST. Salary is annualized at $55,000–$60,000 USD. Seasonal role (May–December) with corresponding biweekly pay for the term. Location is remote within the United States. Prefers English, Writing, Communications, Education, Humanities background.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required
