Job Summary
Conduct one-on-one consultations, provide resources and individualized guidance, and deliver presentations to stakeholders on topics related to college access. Support the Education & Career Pathways team by assisting students with career assessments, financial aid planning, FAFSA support, and college success while sharing information on Granite Edvance's products and services. Travel extensively up to 80% to local schools, partners, and conferences within New Hampshire, with flexibility to work evening hours up to 3-4 nights per week. This role requires a minimum of two days per week in the Concord office and is open to candidates with 1-2 years of experience in college admissions or school counseling.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in college admissions
- Expertise in college preparation
- Expertise in school counseling
- A minimum of 1 to 2 years working in college admissions or school counseling
- Strong presentation and public-speaking skills
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work between the hours of 8am and 8pm
- Flexibility to work evening hours up to 3-4 nights per week
- Ability to travel extensively; up to 80% to travel to local schools, partners, conferences, and meetings, within and occasionally, outside of New Hampshire
- Requirement to work in person at the Concord office a minimum of two days per week
