Job Summary
College Access Mentor Specialist leads bi-weekly mentorship and identity-centered programming for grades 6–8, builds a positive site culture, and manages open study hall and family engagement. Responsibilities include delivering 1:1 mentorship on identity, belonging, confidence, study habits, and early college aspirations; facilitating Brotherhood rituals and development workshops; prioritizing students with D/F grades or GPA below 2.5; tracking attendance and follow-up; coordinating data and handoffs to high school advising; and documenting program activities and student stories.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university is required
- Patience, warmth, and genuine enthusiasm for working with middle or high school-age youth.
