Job Summary
Full-time AmeriCorps College Access Mentor Specialist leading mentorship and programming for students in grades 6–8. Owns site culture, delivers bi-weekly mentorship focused on identity, belonging, brotherhood, and college aspirations; runs Brotherhood programming and workshops; supports open study hall and targeted transitions for 8th graders; engages families through quarterly touchpoints; documents attendance and engagement in Salesforce within 24 hours; coordinates with the Associate Program Director on data, planning, and program delivery; ensures a positive campus presence and supports daily site logistics; participates in AmeriCorps onboarding, coaching, and service-hour requirements; potential pathway toward future full-time employment with IYT. The role is field-based, located at assigned local school campuses in California, with living allowances provided under the CMSC program.

- AmeriCorps eligibility (U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident; background check)
- Experience with youth (middle or high school)

- Enrollment in or completion of a college degree program preferred
