Job Summary
Collect payments, follow up on delinquencies, and coordinate rent, utilities, and fee payments through cold calling, resident visits, and text/email communication. Manage office tasks including preparing correspondence, answering phones, greeting customers, and hand-delivering collection notices. Document collection efforts, assist residents with electronic payment setup, and maintain office files while supporting legal counselors on loan modifications and proceedings. Provide backup for sales and leasing agents. Requires a valid driver's license, self-motivation, and ability to work evening or weekend hours.
Required Qualifications
- A valid in-state driver's license
- Ability to work some evening and/or weekend hours
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous collections experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry specific software products
