Job Summary
Collector Specialist responsible for inbound and outbound calls to verify debtor employment and locate related individuals; perform skip tracing to identify employment, earnings, liabilities, assets, and ability to pay; review delinquent accounts to ensure recovery efforts are exhausted before escalation; use skip-tracing tools (TLOxp, LexisNexis, People Finder) and dialers/CRM (ACD, Quantrax) with payment negotiation and compliance knowledge; collaborate with internal teams to coordinate strategies and update contact information; on-site role in San Antonio, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Experience interacting with consumers/members/debtors via phone and dialer
- 1-2 years of computer experience
- Organizational skills
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Good oral communication skills; bilingual skills a plus
- Professional appearance and conduct
- Heavy computer usage; heavy telephone contact with debtors
