Job Summary
Collector responsible for the collection and resolution of delinquent auto loan/lease accounts. Uses telephone, automated dialer, and written correspondence in a fast-paced collections environment to collect current and past due payments, determine delinquency reasons, document conversations, follow safeguards, and offer qualified programs to minimize delinquency. Maintains production goals, adheres to collection standards, complies with FDCPA and company policies, and may recommend repossession or legal action as needed. Requires handling sensitive personal information and using MS Excel/Word for documentation; must operate within commuting distance of Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, or Phoenix.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- Minimum 2 years customer facing related experience and/or 1 year collection-related experience
- Must have reliable transportation and live within a commutable distance of Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX; Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ
