Collector

Collector responsible for controlling late/delinquent loan accounts, making follow-up calls by phone/letter, maintaining detailed records, and optimizing collections while balancing member goodwill. Duties include developing repayment/workout plans, contacting co-signers, coordinating with attorneys for repossession or bankruptcy matters, securing credit bureau reports, skip tracing, updating delinquency files, and reporting to supervisors. The role also involves identifying opportunities to resolve member issues and upsell credit union products, with tasks spanning investigation of discrepancies, preparing reports, and coordinating with trustees and attorneys as needed. Strong focus on professional member interactions and adherence to credit union policies.
