Collections Team Manager

Job Summary
Lead and develop a global Collections team of analysts in a remote-first environment, driving cash flow performance. Own escalated accounts, oversee AR close, and implement process improvements while partnering with Billing, Sales, Customer Success, Order Management, and Finance to resolve payment obstacles. Role emphasizes hands-on involvement in complex escalations, payment-plan negotiations, and the development and coaching of a high-performing team. Expect collaboration across departments, data-driven metrics, and the creation of scalable collection procedures and dashboards to improve collections and customer outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B collections experience
- 2+ years of people leadership experience managing a global team of 4 or more
- Proven success building and elevating collections teams while staying close to the work
- Strong coaching, accountability, and employee development skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities—effective at both the team level and in direct customer interactions
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, root causes, and support cash flow forecasting
- Experience using collection, ERP, and reporting systems
