Job Summary
Batch and key deposits, manage client credit history files, and document collection activities to support the premium deposit process. Create reports, process collection correspondence, and handle telephone and email communications with insureds, agents, and collection agencies. Key policy transactions, file daily bank statements, and provide administrative backup for Premium Accounting positions as needed. Maintain accurate records using computer systems and databases while handling sensitive financial information.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred or equivalent work-related experience
- Prior administrative, accounting support, or collections experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access)
- Strong organizational, record-keeping, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent communication, customer service and negotiation skills
- Professional approach to handling sensitive financial information
- Must be able to work a hybrid schedule requiring two full days per week in the office
- Must be able to work flex scheduling and summer hours
