Collections Specialist

Job Summary
Communicate with members regarding past-due accounts, answer billing questions, and resolve disputes through inbound and outbound calls. Document account activity accurately, process adjustments and refunds, and follow company policies while providing courteous support throughout the account resolution process. Assist with administrative duties and department projects as assigned. This role requires a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and availability to work one Saturday per month on a rotating schedule. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in collections, customer service, call center operations, account management, billing support, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic math skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and general computer use.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain professional during sensitive conversations.
- Dependable, team-oriented approach with a commitment to customer service.
- Availability to work one Saturday per month on a rotating schedule with other team members.
