Job Summary
Manage inbound and outbound communication for pre-judgment and post-judgment consumer accounts by negotiating payment arrangements and resolving account issues. Review account information to determine appropriate collection strategies, maintain accurate documentation of all interactions, and ensure compliance with firm policies and federal regulations. Utilize negotiation and conflict-resolution techniques to achieve positive outcomes while meeting daily, weekly, and monthly production goals. Collaborate with team members to support departmental objectives and contribute to special projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
- Strong time-management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications.
- One scheduled evening shift per week (Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday), generally 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

- Prior collections, customer service, call center, sales, account management, or financial services experience.

- Experience negotiating payment arrangements or resolving customer account concerns.
- Experience utilizing Cogent or other collections/account management platforms to manage account activity, document communications, and support collection efforts.
