Collections Specialist

Job Summary
Collect outstanding balances from patients, process adjustments, post patient payments, manage autopayment plans, and establish payment plans for past-due accounts. Ensure accurate, compliant, and professional handling of inquiries while maintaining HIPAA confidentiality. Leverage CRM/Salesforce and Microsoft Office tools to document interactions, investigate patient issues, and route questions to the appropriate department. This remote, full-time role requires strong communication and time-management skills, the ability to work independently, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service to support the company’s financial health. Responsibilities include contacting patients for payments, processing adjustments, managing payments, promoting autopay, establishing payment plans, following up on inquiries, and adhering to core values and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED
- 1+ years of experience in collections or customer service
- Eligible to work in the United States
