Collections Specialist

Job Summary
Reconcile payments and customer accounts, communicate discrepancies to management, and identify slow-paying customers or collection candidates. Become expert in the OneDiagnostic computer system while responding to clients and field sales teams. Gather and verify invoices for documentation, maintain accounts receivable records, and monitor collections via telephone, email, and mail. Support accounting and finance team members with credit rebills while ensuring financial reporting integrity. This role requires strong mathematical and analytical skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Applicants must be within reasonable commuting distance to any e3 Diagnostics office.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year experience in a related field
- Strong mathematical skills
- Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to keep company and partner confidences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Travel up to 10% of the time
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
