Job Summary
Collections Specialist needed to manage and maintain the accounts receivable portfolio, ensure timely collection of outstanding balances, evaluate and approve customer credit, and support order processing and returns. Responsibilities include recording invoices, daily collections, aging analysis, reporting on payment status and risk, processing returns, setting up new customers and tax exemption certificates, evaluating credit applications and determining credit limits, and contributing to process improvements. Requires experience in collections/AR/credit management, knowledge of AR processes, strong communication, organizational and cross-functional collaboration skills, and the ability to work in a primarily seated environment. Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit management (preferred, but not required)
- Strong knowledge of AR processes including invoicing, payment application, credits/return processing, and customer communication (preferred, but not required)
- Strong understanding of credit and collections processes
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally with Sales and Operations
