Job Summary
Manager of Collections responsible for the daily oversight of all departmental collections functions across NJ and related units, including aged receivables management, credit/refund management, and adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory controls. Leads and trains teams, analyzes detailed reporting to identify trends, and develops strategies to optimize cash flow and performance. Collaborates with Metering Services, New Business, Customer Service, and Revenue Integrity to ensure productive, compliant operations and to improve key performance indicators.
Required Qualifications
- College Degree required
- Degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience
- 10-15 years supervisory experience
- Experience in bookkeeping or accounting
- Experience in meter-generated billing and payment processing
