Job Summary
Lead and develop a geographically distributed collections team across Dallas, New York, Miami, and San Diego; own end-to-end collections for 2000+ B2B accounts in construction and engineering services; drive DSO improvements and oversee aging analyses, disputed pay-when-paid scenarios, and multi-project client relationships. Define and enforce SOPs for collections, drive automation via HighRadius and related technologies, and prepare regular KPI, aging, and cash flow reports for senior leadership. Serve as the business owner for HighRadius, capture functional requirements, validate workflows, and coordinate with IT. Manage the day-to-day operations of the trade receivables financing program and optimize its utilization for cash flow outcomes. Lead change management within the team, develop documentation and training materials, and collaborate cross-functionally with project accountants, operations, CFO, Controller, and IT to ensure invoice accuracy and overall receivables strategy.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable
- at least 5 years in a managerial role
- experience in the construction, engineering, or professional services industry preferred
- experience defining business requirements or serving as a functional owner for collections software; HighRadius experience is a strong plus
- hands-on experience managing a trade receivables financing or factoring program
- strong analytical skills and comfort with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- excellent communication and negotiation skills
