Collections Manager

Job Summary

Develop and implement the collections strategy aligned with financial objectives and risk appetite. Oversee the end-to-end collections process, managing the team to ensure timely resolution of outstanding accounts and maintaining positive cash flow. Monitor performance, generate reports for senior management, and identify automation opportunities to enhance efficiency. Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and collaborate with stakeholders to drive process improvements. Build relationships with external partners and regularly update policies to meet evolving standards. Work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm in the Crewe office.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in collections management
  • Proven record of success in a leadership role
  • Strong understanding of collections principles, regulatory requirements, and best practices in collections
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with an aptitude for data-driven decision-making
  • Expertise in data management and reporting systems, with experience in collections reporting
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing and mentoring talent
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and presenting to senior management
  • This role is initially being offered as a 12 months FTC

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with collection agencies or legal recovery services
