Collections Lifecycle Manager

Job Summary
Own the full overdue customer lifecycle at Baubap, designing recovery journeys across channels and delinquency stages, messaging strategies and tone, behavioral incentives, predictive segmentation, and AI-powered workflows. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Data Modeling, Engineering, Risk, Brand, and Customer Experience to build a collections function unlike anything in consumer lending, and over time build and lead a small, highly analytical and creative team. Success is defined by world-class recovery performance while preserving customer trust, reducing friction and shame in interactions, and creating scalable, intelligent systems that help customers regain financial health. The role emphasizes designing empathetic, non-coercive recovery experiences, experimentation with automation, personalization, and modern communication systems, with a focus on shaping the future of consumer finance in Latin America.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in collections, recovery, or delinquency management in lending or fintech
- Strong understanding of collections operations, strategy, and recovery economics
- Experience designing collections flows, segmentation, and customer treatment strategies
- Familiarity with predictive modeling, risk signals, and behavioral analytics
- Experience working with digital channels such as SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications, email, IVR, and in-app communication
- Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical team
