Job Summary

Collection Specialist role focusing on emergency services debt recovery for Kowalski Construction in Arizona. Responsibilities include monitoring accounts receivable aging, contacting delinquent customers, assisting with insurance claims, communicating with insurance companies and direct agents, locating responsible homeowners via various data sources, maintaining contact records, resolving billing issues, submitting status reports, performing daily outbound calls, researching debt histories, producing weekly collection operation updates, maintaining account-status records, creating invoices in QuickBooks, and processing payments. Requires strong communication, customer service, problem solving, critical thinking, and high attention to detail; experience with Excel and QuickBooks Desktop is preferred; FDCPA knowledge is required or strongly preferred. Bilingual abilities are a plus. The role involves standard office duties with physical requirements including standing, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 25 pounds; on-site work in Phoenix, AZ.
