Collection Representative (Remote-WI Residents)

Job Summary
Collection Representative responsible for high-volume inbound and outbound calls to negotiate payment terms for past-due medical balances. You will build rapport, guide customers toward practical, mutually beneficial payment solutions, and document interactions accurately while meeting performance metrics. The role emphasizes effective communication, empathy, compliance with FDCPA and state laws, maintaining a private home office, and working in a fully remote, full-time setup with a defined schedule. Training is provided, with earnings structured to progress from an hourly training rate to base pay plus performance-based bonuses/commissions; there is potential for significant earnings based on performance. The position requires residency in one of the specified states, ability to pass verifications, and commitment to onboarding activities. Essential duties include handling high-volume calls, negotiating terms, updating records in real time, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e., GED) required
- Ability to successfully complete company training program
- Clear initial, ongoing and annual identity, criminal and background checks
- Willingness to obtain Professional Collections Specialist (PCS) certification within one year (paid by company)
