Job Summary
Collection Representative working remotely with state residency requirements, handling high-volume inbound/outbound calls to negotiate payment arrangements for past-due balances. Requires private home office, reliable connectivity, and completion of onboarding including identity verification and background checks. Training at $20/hour (FT 8:00 AM–5:00 PM CST / 9:00 AM–6:00 PM ET) transitioning to $17/hour plus performance-based bonuses/commissions; potential for higher earnings with ongoing performance. Responsibilities include listening, empathy, objection handling, documentation updates, and ensuring FDCPA/compliance guidelines are followed. Required Qualifications
- Residency restrictions: must be a resident of Wisconsin, Kansas, Georgia, Oklahoma, Florida, Arkansas, Tennessee, or Texas to be considered
- Ability to work remote full-time with a private home office
- Connectivity and private workspace requirements
- Identity verification and onboarding activities including criminal checks and employment history verification
- Strong communication skills and ability to navigate negotiations
- Ability to handle high-volume calls and meet performance metrics (quality, compliance, collections)
- Knowledge of FDCPA and state laws; compliance-focused
- Proficiency with systems and documentation updates in real time
- Training period with hourly compensation and full-time schedule
