Job Summary
Collection Manager will lead a focused AR collections task force to recover outstanding receivables, improve AR turnover, and mitigate overdue risks within General Trade. You will analyze aging data, identify high-risk accounts, establish and enforce collection policies for GT distributors, collaborate with Sales and Finance on credit terms and dispute resolution, negotiate payment arrangements with partners, monitor daily performance against KPIs, report to senior management, and drive process improvements to prevent recurrences. The role requires strong leadership, experience in AR/collections in FMCG or distribution, proficiency with data analysis and ERP/BI tools, and the ability to visit key distributors from Bandung.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
- 6–8 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, or Credit Control in FMCG or distribution
- Strong understanding of General Trade business models and distributor payment structures
- Proven track record of improving collection efficiency and reducing overdue AR
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Strong leadership and ability to manage task forces or short-term project teams
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting (Excel, ERP, or BI tools)
- Willing to be based in Bandung with mobility to visit key distributors if required
