Job Summary
Volunteer Collection Box Coordinator role in Essex for Marie Curie. Distribute and collect collection tins/boxes, count and bank donations securely, monitor and empty boxes regularly, and identify new venues. Requires 18+ with a friendly, organised approach and knowledge of your local area. Availability is about 2 hours per month with flexible scheduling. Travel and expenses are covered; training and wellbeing support provided. Be part of the UK’s leading end-of-life charity and help raise funds across local shops, cafés, pubs, sports and social clubs, pharmacies and other venues in Epping, Harlow, Brentwood or Canvey Island.
Required Qualifications
- Aged 18 or over
- Availability: 2 hours per month
- Flexible to suit schedule
- Knowledge of local area
- Friendly and positive attitude
- Good organiser
- Comfortable talking to people from all walks of life
