Job Summary
Conduct personnel security operations in Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and coordinate in/out processing for military, civilian, and contractor personnel. Manage full spectrum SCI and collateral security programs, including overseeing self-inspections of containers, materials, and spaces. Spearhead implementation of robust processes across Personnel, Physical, Information, and Industrial Security, while adjusting Standard Operating Procedures to protect critical government resources. Oversee the Security Education, Training, and Awareness program, develop tailored training products, and serve as a security subject matter expert to senior leadership. Support government inspections, audits, and ensure compliance with installation-wide standards.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) eligibility
- 10+ years of relevant experience within the Department of Defense (DoD) or equivalent federal service work
- 4+ years' experience in SCI and or SAP environment and worked in this environment within the last five years
- Experience working with systems such as Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
- Master of Arts (MA), Master of Science (MS), or Master of Engineering (ME) degree
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- A high-level Department of Defense active security clearance
- Must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner
- Must be able to lift to thirty pounds, as necessary
- Maybe required to drive a government vehicle as needed
