Job Summary

Support personnel security and physical security program operations by assisting in the development and maintenance of Physical Security Plans and related documentation. Coordinate with stakeholders to support personnel suitability determinations and administer access control and intrusion detection systems. Process background investigations, safeguard government-furnished equipment, and maintain security documentation and databases. Conduct security inspections, assessments, and compliance reviews while managing visitor access and facility security operations. Serve as an alternate Senior Site Representative when designated. Requires Active Top Secret clearance, two years of experience managing access control systems, and familiarity with GSA-approved locking systems for Department of Defense organizations.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience managing access control and intrusion detection systems
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience working with GSA-approved locking systems for Department of Defense or federal law enforcement organizations
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting Department of Defense or federal government agencies with familiarity regarding security clearance adjudication processes
  • Demonstrated experience processing background investigations with Department of Defense or federal law enforcement organizations
  • Active Top Secret clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting U.S. Special Operations Command or other Department of Defense security programs
  • Experience supporting personnel security, physical security, or access control programs
  • Experience supporting classified environments and secure facilities
  • Experience conducting security reviews, inspections, or compliance activities
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Knowledge of personnel security, physical security, and access control principles
  • Knowledge of Department of Defense security policies, procedures, and requirements
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Ability to maintain accurate security records, reports, and documentation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Ability to work effectively with government personnel, contractors, and security stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining security compliance and attention to detail
  • Commitment to professionalism, customer service, and mission success
