Job Summary
Manage the Bank's collateral vault by ensuring safekeeping of mortgage files, conducting annual reconciliations, and performing on-site inspections of member and custodian locations. Process, review, and reconcile mortgage documentation submissions while creating inventory logs for exceptions and communicating eligibility status to members. File, amend, and search UCC Financing Statements, including timely continuations and name changes, while coordinating third-party pledge requests with legal counsel. Conduct large CRE and multifamily loan reviews to assess compliance and prepare written recommendations for proposed pledges.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years' experience with Residential, CRE and Multifamily real estate credit and underwriting analysis

- MS/MBA, or BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Accounting or equivalent work experience in the mortgage industry
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial mortgage loan documents
- Highly detailed oriented to safe keep and track mortgage files, their documents, UCC filings, and legal agreements

- An understanding of collateral arrangements and corporate structures
- Strong analytical skills in order to perform data analysis and comparisons
- A working knowledge of Uniform Commercial Code for secured transactions
- 5-10% travel
- Occasionally involves lifting boxes approximately 10-20 lbs. in weight
