Job Summary
Collaborative Project Manager in Jacksonville, FL to lead planning, coordination, budgeting, risk analysis, and stakeholder engagement during pursuit and preconstruction for municipal water/wastewater projects. Manages design collaboration, constructability reviews, GMP budgeting, owner engagement, and coordination between engineering and estimating teams; supports RFQ/RFP responses, client interviews, and milestone governance; emphasizes early strategy, cost development, constructability comments, and value engineering to maintain budgets and objectives; requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years in municipal water/wastewater construction/design, CMAR/Design-Build experience, and proficiency with scheduling and cost-management tools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or a related field required
- Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience may be considered
- 7+ years of experience in municipal Water/Wastewater construction or design
- Prior experience as a Project Manager on municipal Water/Wastewater projects
- Experience developing or supporting GMP pricing
- Strong ability to collaborate effectively with owners, engineers, and operations teams
- Proficiency with scheduling software (P6 preferred) and cost management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
