Job Summary
Implement the College's philosophy and curriculum through clinical teaching, direct supervision, and evaluation of nursing students delivering care. Plan clinical experiences, develop written assignments, and provide timely feedback on performance and homework. Orient students to agency policies, offer remediation as needed, and maintain current knowledge of clinical procedures. Contribute to program development, assessment efforts, and campus retention initiatives while serving as a professional role model. Teach didactic content under supervision when assigned and report student or agency concerns to the course coordinator.
Required Qualifications
- A master's or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university
- An unencumbered professional nursing license
- A current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association
- At least two years professional experience within last five years in the area of instruction as a registered nurse
- Proof of COVID-19 vaccination may be required to teach at certain clinical partner sites
