Job Summary
Collaboration Specialist focusing on O365/SharePoint/AvePoint. Provide technical escalation, lead major incidents in customer collaboration environments, and partner with Kyndryl Account Teams to assess IT environments and implement remediation plans. Role covers setup/configuration of new collaboration environments, remediation and migration to designated toolsets, and the development of SOPs and best practices for internal delivery teams. Core expertise spans Microsoft 365 Administration, SharePoint Online Architecture, OneDrive & Teams, AvePoint Governance/Backup/Migration, and security compliance. Requires extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Exchange, AD/AAD, PowerShell, and cross-team collaboration; seeks candidates who can drive engineering solutions, communicate effectively, and lead efforts to meet customer objectives across complex RFS activities.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years in M365 / Collaboration Platforms, with deep enterprise SharePoint Online and AvePoint experience
- Deep expertise within Microsoft 365 Administration, SharePoint Online Architecture, OneDrive & Teams Collaboration, Permissions & Access Management, Information Architecture, Metadata & Content Management, External Sharing Controls
- AvePoint Expertise: Governance, Backup & Restore, Migration, Compliance/Risk Insights, Automation, Reporting
- Security & Compliance: Microsoft Purview, Sensitivity Labels, DLP, Retention Policies, eDiscovery, Audit Readiness, External Collaboration Security
- Experience leading incidents and providing technical leadership to internal delivery teams and customers
- Experience with migration tools (AvePoint, Quest, Binary Tree, etc.) and both on-premises and cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server, AD/AAD, PowerShell scripting, and hybrid configurations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Customer-focused mindset and ability to translate technical remediation plans into actionable steps
- Ability to develop SOPs and best practices for internal teams
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 workloads (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) across licenses
