Job Summary
Collaboration Specialist focused on Microsoft 365 and AvePoint ecosystem, responsible for providing technical support to customers and internal teams, leading major incident resolution in customer collaboration environments, and driving remediation plans. Role involves analyzing IT environments, proposing solutions, testing, modifying, automating, and migrating collaboration environments; coordinating with Architects, Technicians, and PMs; developing SOPs and best practices for internal delivery. Core expertise includes Microsoft 365 Administration, SharePoint Online Architecture, OneDrive & Teams Collaboration, Permissions & Access Management, Information Architecture, Metadata & Content Management, and AvePoint capabilities (Governance, Backup/Restore, Migration, Compliance/Risk Insights, Automation, Reporting). Preferred focus on security, compliance (Microsoft Purview, DLP, retention, eDiscovery), and enterprise-grade governance; requires cross-team collaboration, strong analytical skills, and a customer-focused mindset. The role supports ongoing growth toward Architect or Distinguished Engineer tracks and emphasizes a hybrid-friendly, growth-oriented culture.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years in M365 / Collaboration Platforms
- Deep expertise within specific technology domain areas
- Enterprise IT application experience
- Hands-on experience in software development, DevOps engineering, systems administration, or systems architecture in public cloud AWS domain
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux Operating Systems
- Must have experience driving for engineering solutions and working across teams
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong process improvement experience
