Job Summary
Collaborating Physician to provide clinical oversight for Alabama-based Nurse Practitioners in a 1099 independent contractor role. Flexible, part-time schedule with remote work option (Florida). Responsibilities include clinical consultation, NP collaboration, chart reviews, participation in virtual team meetings, NP onboarding and education, and ensuring regulatory and clinical excellence within a value-based care model.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO with an active, unrestricted Alabama medical license
- Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or a related specialty
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience, preferably in primary care or chronic disease management
- Prior experience collaborating with or supervising Nurse Practitioners
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Knowledge of state-specific collaborative practice regulations
