Job Summary
Operate shoulder or fixed-mounted cameras during events, managing focus and playback for live and recorded videos. Control switchers and call camera directions while running replay systems for slow-motion goal reviews. Set up and dismantle audio-visual equipment, adjusting settings like white and color balance on vector scopes. Diagnose and repair broadcast production systems in live studio and arena environments. Maintain scoreboard display software and recall graphics for crowd engagement. Work flexible shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends under the direction of the Technical Manager of Audio/Video Services.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of camera systems and control functions, including operations and basic troubleshooting of video equipment
- At least two to three years of relevant or similar work experience in the operation of audio and video telecommunication/studio equipment
- Experience using camera, audio boards, control switchers, audio-visual camera equipment and cabling
- Ability to take direction as given by the director or producer
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, holidays, and weekends to work events
- Requires good working knowledge and the ability to use basic computer knowledge of windows operating systems
- Ability to stand, sit, crouch, and hold up to 30 lbs. for long periods of time
