Job Summary
Welcome guests, take orders correctly including drive-thru, and receive payments while presenting change. Manage the register for all credit card and cash operations, ensuring a balanced register at the end of the shift. Prepare custard items in a sanitary and timely manner, assuming responsibility for product quality and maintaining dining room cleanliness. Follow proper washing, sanitation, hygiene, and safety procedures while assembling and disassembling equipment. Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager. This role requires walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 25 pounds, standing for long periods, and operating cash registers and custard machines. Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, based in Wichita, Kansas, serves steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, and frozen custard with specialty sundaes.
Required Qualifications
- Walk, bend, climb, reach, kneel, push, pull and lift up to 25 pounds
- Operate cash register, custard machine and other front of the house equipment
- Stand for long periods of time
- Hear and respond appropriately to guests
