Cold Storage Inventory Associate

Job Summary
Unload palletized deliveries using motorized pallet jacks and forklift trucks, then transfer pallets of inventory to and from walk-in freezers using reach trucks. Pick cases from freezers for orders, stage them for scheduled pickups, and verify truck readiness for food transportation by assessing cleanliness and temperatures. Manage inventory through RF scanners and tracking systems, while safely loading pallets onto client trucks. Complete drop-off and pick-up paperwork, assist with general warehouse tasks to maintain a clean environment, and exercise good judgment when problems arise. This fast-paced role requires prior PIT equipment experience and flexibility for last-minute client changes.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience using reach trucks, hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts in a warehouse environment
- Flexible, team-oriented attitude
- Reliable transportation to our warehouse in Tewksbury, MA and excellent work attendance
- Willingness to get hands dirty and jump in to do whatever needs to get done
- Ability to lift and move 35-50 pounds
- Basic math skills, such as counting, adding and subtracting cases and pallets without a calculator
- Must be comfortable working with heights (50ft-60ft)
- Prior warehouse experience with PIT equipment
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience using reach trucks, hand trucks, pallet jacks and forklifts in a warehouse environment
- Experience working in a temperature-controlled facility (our storage bays are held at -10F and our shipping/receiving dock is held at 40-45F)
