Cold Section Module IPT Leader

Job Summary
Lead cold section hardware design for GEK1500/GEK800 engines, owning fan and compressor hardware from inlet to combustor interface. Act as technical authority for rotating and static components, manage CAD drawings and specifications, and own critical interfaces. Drive design, analysis, and qualification of rotating components (blades, disks, rotors) and static components (inlet vanes, stators, cases, diffusers, seals), coordinate with aerodynamics, stress, and test teams, and ensure DFMA, manufacturability, and operability targets. Provide IPT leadership, guide FEA/CFD/rotordynamics analyses, manage margins and stall/operability performance, and mentor design engineers. Coordinate with materials, manufacturing, and suppliers to meet cost and production goals. Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, including FOD tolerance, and support security-clearance and U.S. citizenship requirements. Relocation assistance is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related engineering discipline; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in turbomachinery design engineering, preferably in gas turbine compression systems or compressor component design
- U.S. Citizenship required for security clearance; current clearance preferred
