Job Summary
Supervise the warehouse team to delegate tasks, solve operational issues, and enforce safety protocols while addressing day-to-day floor concerns. Plan equipment collation for delivery, log incoming stock, and assist with unloading vehicles to cold room bays. Create QC checklists, confirm goods meet specifications, and ensure effective storage space utilization. Report incidents, delays, or operational concerns to management promptly and highlight areas for continuous improvement. Maintain relationships with the Ops team and support wider warehouse operations as needed. Ensure all personnel follow health and safety procedures and cleanliness standards to maintain safe working conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, processes, and safety protocols
- Demonstrated leadership ability or previous acting-in-charge experience
- Proven experience of assisting with organisational efficiencies and operations
- Solution focused mindset and resilient in problem solving
- Strong work ethic
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Working level of English
- Must be able to bend, stoop, walk and stand for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to climb and work from ladders and in confined spaces safely
- Must be able to move and lift heavy equipment
