Job Summary
Operate cold heading machines and set up cold header equipment, ensuring proper sequencing, lubrication, and record-keeping. Select, install and adjust threading dies, die cutters, chamfering tools, feed grips, pressure-tripping mechanisms, cams, gears and pulleys. Prepare tooling progressions for up to 6 dies/6 blow headers and grind/modify thread roll dies as needed; inspect and verify workpiece dimensions per print specifications. Familiarity with Formax headers (FX33, FX32, FX45, FX44, FX53, FX54, FX55) or similar brands is a plus. On-site role in Elk Grove Village, IL with competitive benefits and growth potential.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One or more years of full-time experience with the setting up of cold headed fastener headers is required
